If you've ever enjoyed the quintessential Californian experience of sun, sand and sea, then you'll love the Broadside wines. Not coincidentally, those three factors are why these wines are so utterly delicious.

The Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes all come from the area around Paso Robles, blessed with long, sunny summer days essential for ripe, juicy fruit. The land is best described as a prehistoric beach, with calcium-rich deposits that endow the wines with a bright, balancing minerality. Last but certainly not least, proximity to the sea ensures that the coastal winds dramatically cool down the vineyards every night, preserving the fresh acidity in every bunch.

None of this would matter if Stephy Terrizi wasn't one of the best viticulturalists in the region, ensuring that the vines and grapes are always in tip-top shape, and Brian, her husband, is an even-handed winemaker, letting native yeast ferments take their course in largely neutral vessels. The wines are what one would expect: ripe and plush, yet savoury and graceful, and shine with food. 

These are wonderful, unmistakably Californian wines, and to top it all off, they're priced with the same honesty and modesty which make the Terrizi family such a joy to work with.
