There's no real need for an introduction to the finely-etched Champagnes of the de Sousa family. The effects of their biodynamic farming are really starting to show across the range; a bit more texture, a touch more power, but never losing that sense of balance. We're pleased to be able to offer both the Brut Tradition and Rosé in this bundle for your holiday needs. 

There is a total of three bottles in the bundle.  It consists of:

NV de Sousa Champagne Brut Tradition

Grape Variety: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier

Sparkling, dry white; glug-glug-glug

Pairing: Serve with canapes

Erick de Sousa was among the earliest pioneers of biodynamic vineyard practices in Champagne. Since then, his sensitive touch has consistently crafted wines that balance freshness and a round, soft texture.

NV de Sousa Champagne Brut Rosé

Grape Varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir

Sparkling dry rosé; flora fun

Pairing: Maine-style lobster roll

Erick makes a rosé which derives both its power and delicacy from the high quality of the Chardonnay grapes (usually about 90% of the final blend), sourced from the village of Grauves. That’s not to say that the Pinot Noir is there just to contribute colour; the berry fruits on the nose and palate bear testimony to the very fine Äy fruit.

It’s certainly fine as an aperitif, but really comes into its own with good seafood, where the acidity and bright fruit flavours work like a citrus-based sauce.
