The domaine will be certified organic in 2019. Before certification, founder Andre-Michel and his protégé Frédèric Lailler were always strong believers in manual harvesting. With their painstaking attention to detail, yields are restricted to 30 hl/ha. Vines across the estate have an average age of 60 years and are rooted in gabbro (a volcanic bedrock rarely found in wine country, that yields fruit with highly concentrated flavours).
