Castell d’Age, now run by the extraordinary Olivia Junyent and her siblings, are better-known for their cavas but they do very polished still wines as well from their biodynamically farmed fruit.
Best consumed when young, this Blanc de Blancs exudes fresh grapefruit, pears and apples, and for us, a sigh of delight.
FOOD PAIRING: Very suitable for aperitif drinking or enjoying with fish, seafood and rice dishes. Serve between 7 and 10.ºC
