Castell d'Age employs biodynamic practices across their vineyards, but with the 0% SO2 range, there is an additional guarantee of no added sulfites, no filtering and no clarifying. This is natural wine at its best.
The Catalonian Junyent family first planted vines in the 20th century. But it was only when the estate passed into the hands of the enterprising womenfolk that they started making wines. It is now the third generation of women who are working the land according to biodynamic practices. The vines are spread over 6 vineyards, which allows them to find optimum altitudes and soils for each grape variety.
