Given Friulano's tendency to ripen suddenly (and unevenly), it's always a treat to taste the razor-keen San Pietro, bursting with minerality and dried herb complexity. It's more linear than its cousin San Lorenzo, and presents what we think of as a distinctly '60s/'70s style of Tocai Friulano which is increasingly difficult to find.
